Drift Rules

Drivers must have & do the following:

1. Valid driver's license
2. Long Pants
3. T-shirt at a minimum (no tank-tops)
4. Full-coverage shoes
5. Helmet (Snell 2015 or newer)
6. Keep arms inside the vehicle

Drift cars must be equipped with the following:

1. Functional seat belt/harness (racing seats must have a harness, no stock seatbelts)
2. Battery strap
3. Functioning head, tail, and brake lights
4. All lug nuts present
5. No cracked/broken glass
6. No loose body parts
7. No leaking fluids
8. Roll cage for convertible vehicles

Must meet all criteria for Beginner group plus the following:

1. Driver demonstrates ability to stay on course
2. Prior drift experience and demonstation of proper drift etiquette
3. Approval from GoFast management to run in intermediate group

Additional requirements for tandem drifting:

1. Vehicle must be equipped with a roll cage including door bars that are placed above the thigh
2. Fire retardant padding must be present anywhere body might make contact with the roll cage
3. Fixed back seat
4. 4-point harness (minimum)
5. Harness bar
6. Approval from GoFast management to run alongside another drift car

Must meet all criteria for Intermediate group plus additional requirements listed above for tandem drifting AND the following:

1. Driver demonstrates consistent control of vehicle while on course
2. SFI-rated padding must be present anywhere the body can make contact with the roll cage
3. Must be approved by GoFast management to run with Advanced group
